What began as a vision in 2017 has blossomed into an inclusive, interactive music park that welcomes everyone in Pickens County. Thanks to a single donation that sparked a community effort, the park now features over a dozen accessible musical instruments, all sheltered under awnings for year-round enjoyment. It’s a place where people of all ages and abilities come together to create joyful sounds in a peaceful, outdoor setting.

Located within Roper Park, Jasper’s Peace Park offers something for everyone—comfortable benches, shaded areas, and award-winning Freenotes Harmony Park musical play structures. In fact, it received the 2022 Design Excellence Award for its thoughtful and inclusive design, becoming the first park of its kind in the community.
