Our Marble, Our Heritage – Georgia Marble Festival in Pickens County, GA each October!

Fun Fact: Did you know that Pickens County, GA marble was used in the creation of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.?!

This year marked our 43rd Annual Georgia Marble Festival held on October 4-5, 2025 – Jasper, GA | Lee Newton Park. Saturday morning, we kicked off the weekend with a 5K, 1-mile fun run & a parade down Main Street. Georgia Marble Festival offers a FREE kids zone, live demonstrations (marble sculpting & chainsaw wood carving), and EXCLUSIVE Quarry Tours that provide a behind-the-scenes look at the rich marble heritage in Pickens County, GA – just 1 hour north of Atlanta, GA. Arts & craft vendors, local food, live stage music, and plenty of photo-worthy moments set against the backdrop of The First Mountain City.

As the region known as the “Marble Capital of Georgia,” Pickens County’s festival celebrates the local industry & heritage – making this a meaningful community tradition.

Talking Rock Heritage Days

Held in the charming little town of Talking Rock, GA – nestled in Pickens County, the annual Heritage Days festival is a fall favorite held the third full weekend in October!

What to remember: Talking Rock Heritage Days is two full days of art & crafts, antiques, food vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities – often with free admission and parking! The festival takes place along the business district and scenic areas near Talking Rock Creek – providing a quaint, relaxed event.

Talking Rock, GA brings a small-town spirit combined with rich North Georgia charm. It’s perfect for visitors seeking a slower-paced festival, packed with character! Don’t miss nearby hikes to complete your perfect Talking Rock day!
